Fruit Value is an agri-food company specializing in the cultivation, production and distribution of fruit. It manages the product throughout the entire value chain, from origin to commercialization in international markets, combining agricultural expertise, quality control and logistics capabilities.
Its activity is focused on delivering high-quality fruit to consumers around the world, taking care of every stage of the process from field to table.
The Challenge
Fruit Value received prices and offers from its producers in multiple formats, including Excel files, PDFs, images and documents with different structures. The sales team had to manually interpret, organize and transcribe this information, making it difficult to quickly access up-to-date prices, compare producers and consult historical data.
The Solution
We designed and developed a web platform optimized for both desktop and mobile devices that centralizes purchase price management. The solution allows users to enter information manually or import offers through an AI- and OCR-assisted process, which proposes structured data for the user to review and validate. We also implemented an equivalence system that learns from confirmed associations, preserves the original source documents and makes it easier to search, compare and analyze price trends over time.
