Bike Locker Girona offers a secure bicycle parking service in Girona, designed both for cyclists visiting the city and for those making a stop before or after exploring the Costa Brava or the Pyrenees.
Its lockers provide a convenient and protected place to store bicycles while users enjoy the city, take a break or continue their journey with peace of mind. It is a practical solution for moving around without worries and keeping both bicycles and equipment safe.
The Challenge
A company wanted to launch a bicycle locker rental service in a fully automated facility with no on-site staff. It needed a solution that would allow users to book, pay and access the facility from their mobile phones, while ensuring the security, reliability and proper functioning of every operation.
The Solution
We designed and developed a complete platform consisting of a mobile application for iOS and Android, together with a web-based administration panel. The solution manages availability, bookings, payments and pricing, while also controlling the opening and closing of the electronic locks. We also integrated sensors and devices from different manufacturers to manage the facility’s access doors, verify that they close correctly, monitor the status of the lockers and detect whether any items remain inside them.
